The Pentax 67 is an Icon for Medium Format Photography. It is comically heavy, exceptionally robust & most importantly it has character.

Pentax released a plethora of lenses to match for this camera but the 105mm f2.4 Takumar is preeminent and creates velvety bokeh while maintaining superb sharpness.

It saw it’s first release in 1969 with the fourth iteration released in 1999. Ross owns the second generation 1976 model while Dom shoots with the 1990 third generation.

Only a few other cameras rival it in the 6x7 negative category namely the Mamiya 7 and Mamiya RZ67. This negative size will only yield 10 photos per roll before you have to reload.

The early 35mm rangefinders from Nikon are simply beautiful. A fully mechanical alternative from Japan, to the Leicas at the time. A much improved version from the previous Nikons featuring an exceptionally bright rangefinder, 1:1 viewfinder and a rewind lever.

A handy gear located next to the shutter release couples with the focus mechanism meaning you can shoot one handed while.. having a hand free for anything else, like a cigar maybe?

Moving back to the lens. It’s a 50mm f1.4 Nikkor producing great bokeh but coming up a little soft when shooting at the lower f stops. After all this is a camera that was first released in 1957.

This Leica MP is the newest in the collection. It is in fact a new camera released by Leica mimicking the original MP released in the early 1950s.

Easy to use and quick to shoot makes this one of the most ideal, moment capturing cameras of all time.
