This years Revival came with much anticipation, largely due to the preparation we put in. The focus of the event for us was to capture the essence of classic Racing and Style. Below is a selection of the classics which caught our eye.

The vehicles this year were irresistible and the urge to capture them all weighed heavy on the shutter release button. But we kept our itchy fingers conservative and ready to shoot any action happening in the paddocks.

A highlight was definitely the mass of GT40s on show at the Caroll Shelby Memorial race with their spine-shivering revving. The lavant cup of course featuring an array of racing Ferraris difficult to miss.

The shots below are all taken on our Pentax 67s with the 105mm lens and the Leica MP. The palette of film used, ranges through Kodak, Fuji & Ilford. A personal favourite being the Expired Velvia 50 which produces heavy contrast and warmth. Other films shot include Portra 160, 400, Ektar, Ektachrome & Delta 100.

Spectators went above and beyond for this event with their attire. It made for an unparalleled motorsport experience and a unique shooting opportunity. This is the reason for us coming back to the Goodwood events every year. We love to photograph people and capture emotion on film especially during exciting situations.

Below is the variety of styles and people present at this years event, from tireless Mechanics to casual Participants & regular Members.
